I am packing my « scrapping » stuff in preparation of our move, and I must say it is not an easy task ! It is even more difficult as I still have several orders pending, meaning I can pack only part of my supplies. But which part should I pack and what should I leave out ?! I’m making boxes and unpacking them again because I need something that’s buried completely at the bottom! Really awful… I still have 5 cards and 3 jewelry orders to complete and then it will be done till January…
Anyway, today I share with you a card I made for a 30th wedding anniversary in my family. I am to late for the actual date but they had a surprise party planned and nobody wanted them to know, so I was not allowed to send it in time… The design is very simple and I only used whisper white, Sahara sand, black and rose red card stock. I sanded the chipboard letters and left them as they were (normally I would color them or cover them with paper). The “hearts on wire” stamp is from the valentine defined set (SU) and the little music notes are from a “close to my heart” set, but I don’t remember the name of the set anymore. I bended the “hearts on wire” stamp on my acrylic block before I stamped it to give it a kind of banner look. The congrats sentiment is an old stamp I got on ebay some years ago, so I don’t have any references for it. I used two SU punches: the owl builder punch (for the little heart) and the scallop trim border punch. I enter this card for this weeks JUGS challenge which is to add numbers onto the card.
So that’s it for today, hope you like it!
