Baby boy – Welcome in this world

Hi everyone,

Today I share a very quick card with you. One of my best friends became a mum last week, so I made her and her husband a welcome card for their little boy. I used this week’s sketch from “freshly made sketches“. I respected the sketch quiet well this time although I did replace the bow by a stitch with some twine. The stamps are from Stampin’up and I used copic markers to color the stroller. The dark blue paper strip is scored and rubbed against a white stayzon inkpad to accentuate the score lines.

This will be the last card I made before our move to Europe. All my scrapping stuff will be packed this week, so no card making or scrapbooking anymore till January (I am sooo gone miss it!). However, I promise you to keep on posting some of the cards I didn’t share with you yet.

Have a good week and see you next week!

  1. What a sweet baby card! I love how you substituted cross-stitching for the ribbon. How creative to score the dark blue panel! I hope you have safe travels on your move. Thanks for playing at Freshly Made Sketches!

  2. What a sweet card! I love that carriage and you've done such a great job colouring it! Love how you've added a stitch to the ribbon with twine! Great idea! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
