Christ in his cradle is the most known symbol we know of Christian Christmas. It still holds this peacfull feeling of a newborn child, said to be born to save the world. Although a lot of people don’t beleive in Jesus anymore, I think we should remember why we celebrate Christmas. That’s also why I chose to share this more traditional Christmas card with you today.
I kept it simple and to a minimum of decorations. I also used only three basic colours: brown, soft green and red. The background strip is embossed to create some depth and I coloured the images with some soft coloured copics. The gold bakers twine adds a soft but nice bit of bling, to remember that this day is a celebration.
Hope you feel the peace of Christmas coming down on us in these rushing weeks before the Holidays.
