Today I share a Christmas card orded by one of my colleagues. The assignement was to make a card for her mother who loves vintage teddy bears. She loves them so much that she even makes them! When I have these kind of personalized orders, I always start out by searching the web for definitions and history of the proposed subjects and I have found this short review of the teddybear’s history as childhood companion: “Antique and Vintage Teddy Bear“.
To come back to my card, I went to the store and bought a bear stamp especially for the occasion. Can you imagine I didn’t have any in my huge stach of stamps? I had the Christmas tree of course (it’s a SU set, but retired now) and the rest was quiet simple.
I used some old SU paper, which I really love. It is such a pity that Stampin’up didn’t keep this DSP for a little while longer… Then I stamped and colored the images, cut out the bear and put hom on 3D adhesive to create the impression the tree is really behind him.
Hope you like this card, I’am of to work now, see you in a couple of days.
