am have finally been sitting at my scrap-table doing some stamping JUST FOR ME, JUST FOR FUN! Love it. No, I did not completely clean up my scraproom yet (see scraproom desaster), but I’ll get to it (I’ll show you, that’s a promise!). As you know, I love playing along with challenge blogs (although I hardly find time to stamp, photograph and post before the challenge closes), so I thought to give it a try at Merry Monday today (last week). You should really hop over there and take a look at what the design team put together! The challenge is was to use a Snowman or Snow People on our Christmas project. So this is what I came up with.
I bought this little snowman just before Christmas but did not get to use it! Terrible don’t you think!? But lucky me at Merry Monday they make Christmas projects all year long… 🙂 Thus I got it inked up and here it is! However, as I am linking this up far too late (as usual), I can’t participate in the challenge anymore :s … Maybe next time!
The bracelet I want to share today has been made before summer, but did not make the pictures and write the post to show it to you. Oh yes, life is not getting easier and time is still not strehing (althoug I would love it to!). This bracelet is made of imitation malachite beads which are wrapped in silver plated copper wire. I made another version of this one earlier, you can find it over here: pink stone wire wrapped bracelet.
Hope you liked it!
Have a nice day,
Another very quick post today. I wanted to share this pair of dandling earrings. It was made in a mum of time and I was happy with it! Love it when something comes quickly together.
Have a nice day peeps,
Happy New Year!!!! All the best wishes to all of you…
I will be starting the new year by sharing my scraproom with you (more like a junk room if you ask me). I hope this will motivate me to get it cleaned up in the coming days! Indeed, with the high amount of Christmas orders I had, I did not find the time to make some order during/after crafting. Both my paper scrapping and my jewelry making sides have been overwhelmed with craft materials. However, the festivities are over now and the new orders for 2014 are emergeing already, so it’s time to get over with this mess. See for yourself:
Stamping side (I had to put away crafting-stuff on the ground to be able to make a picture!):
Jewelry making side (I even invaded this side with my heatgun as I did’t have enough space left on the other side :s ):
Central island (where everything comes together: papercrafting, knitting, sewing, jewelry making, etc… A real mess too):
When I asked my friend how much time it would take me to get this cleaned up, he estimated a approximately 1,5 hours. I estimate more something like 5 hours. What do you think? I’ll keep you posted!
Have fun to those of you who are still enjoying the holidays, and heads up for those who started working again! I’ll start digging in my mess to get you a nice “cleaned up” image soon!
Christmas is only one month away! I’ll have to do some shopping soon if I want to be ready for the Holiday season. Anyway, here is one of my latest cards. Love this Santa stamp from Stampin’up! Don’t you?
Unfortunately, I don’t have much time today, so see ya later!
Hi blog land!
I’m back again with one of my forgotten cards. I made this card on an evening I was extremely tired but wanted to craft anyway. This is what came out. The card base is sprayed with smootch sprits although I don’t think you can see that on the picture. All images and card stock are Stampin’up. With the colors I wanted to reflect the winter cold we had while we lived in Quebec (I miss you!!!).
So, not much more to say this week, so see you later alligator!
Only 8 weeks left before the Holidays! Do you feel the rush already? I certainly do! Still have no gifts, don’t know yet how we will be surfing between families this year, am rushing to finish all card orders for Christmas and I am busy preparing your christmas classes… Oh yes, I forgot, I have several jewelry orders for the holidays too. Only 8 weeks left, don’t know yet how to get it all organized! Anyway, to help you prepare the Holidays, I did create a bunch of Christmas cards for you (ready to ship), have 3 Christmas classes ready to go, prepared workshops*, and made some changes to my site. The changes will be up next week and I’ll give you all the information you need in a next post! But for now, lets check one of the clean and simple Christmas cards I made this week:
Hope you liked it! See you soon…
*A wokshop allows you to make Christmas cards and gifts at your house with your friends, I’ll bring everything you need! If you want to organize one (in Belgium or the north of France), just shoot me an email…
Hi bloggers,A very quick post for today. This is a necklace with matching earrings I made a while back. The picture might not be the best one I ever made, but I hope you see enough to appreciate the beauty in it. As you might see, this one is made of polymer clay beads and black onyx chips and the links are silver plated. It is an everyday jewelry set, which I appreciate as I don’t like spending hours choosing out the best fit to my clothing. Just the same set the whole week, great!
Hope you like it!
I know it has been far to long. Life here in Europe is so much more stressing and time consuming than it was when we lived in Canada. But I had a brake the last two weeks (can tell you that I needed it!!!) and this gave me some time to sit at my crafting table. Several cards are made and I’ll be posting them soon, but today I wanted to start with a challenge card. I want to enter this one for my old time favourite: the paper players and for another challenge blog where I like to participate: freshly made sketches. For the paper players it had to stay to blues (midnight muse and pool party) and white, I immediately wanted to make a winter card. The freshly made sketches offered a square card design with one layer and one focal point on the lower right corner. The sketch forms the basis of my design, although I did not keep the card square. I also added a border behind my focal point as otherwise I had the impression it was floating around alone on my card. Hope you like it!
See you soon!
I am back with one of my latest creations. I haven’t much time this eve, so I’ll be short. I made the cages (wire wraps) surrounding the beads with silver plated wire. Of course I had to make some earrings to go along with it too. Hope you like it!
