Baby drawer card – baby boy congratulations

Hi everyone!

I am just hopping by very quickly as my time is “counted” lately. We have decided to add sport to our already very busy schedule, which eats away on my precious crafting time. But it is necessary and doing me very good. The nights after we go to the gym, I am able to sleep now! No more waking up in the middle of the night… Just great! But now, on top of that, I have a couple of big orders to fullfil, so the remaining crafting time I have is going into the making of birth announcements, baby favors and communion favors. All together this means I only have a little time to spend with you, to make pictures, to write blogposts, and so on. So I decided to schedule a couple of posts in advance and share with you some of my older cards for which I already have the pictures made, processed and uploaded online.

So here is the first one: my favorite baby drawer card. It is made based on the same fold as the “baby girl’s chest” post I shared with you a couple of years back, but I prefer the colors of this one. What about you?

However, as I told you, I am just hopping by, thus no further chatting today. But if you want more information, don’t hesitate to leave me a comment, I will make time to answer as soon as I can.

Window card – A card for baby Anthony

Here is another baby themed card I made. I made it for one of my customers and the newborn baby was called Anthony. I wanted to make something a bit different compared to the usual standard cards and opted for a hanging/balancing onesie in a circle window. It made me think of a child’s mobile to hang above their beds. I had to make it a tri-fold so that the text written inside the card would not be visible thru the circle window. I kept the rest of the design quiet simple, though I used patterned paper! Oh yes, I have serious problems using DSP on my cards. One way or another, I always end up using only cardstock or decorate my cardstock myself to create exactly the look I want…

What about a personalized baby album as birth present?

Hi Folks,

Today I’ll share with you a present I made for friends who just became the parents of the little Joseph. I wanted to make something special, so I decided to make a 1 year album in which they had 1 page per month to add pictures of the growing baby.

Baby Onesie

Hi my friends,

Hope you are having a wonderful day! I surely am as my deadlines are finally over :) :) ! The stress goes down the mojo is back! Today I share with you a card I made some months ago for one of my clients. It was meant for a baby shower. I used this baby onesie as template, embossed the little dots by hand (difficult the see in the picture, but they are there) and finally decorated it.

Hope you like it …

Cheers

Following your footsteps

Hi bloggies,

Baby boy – Iris fold inspiration 2

Hi crafter friends,

I promised you a while back that I would share my second buggy card. This time I also made a picture of the inside… I love decorating the inside and the envelope, so that everything coordinates well together.

Tell me how you like it….

See ya later!

Hello baby – Iris fold inspiration

Hi bloggies,

A quick post today as it’s already late… This card was inspired by the play date cafe color challenge and by the iris fold technique. I say inspired, because iris folding is a technique that involves folding strips of colored paper in such a way to form a design. So, that’s what I did. However, the center of the design should form an iris, which I didn’t do as I wanted the buggy to look as real as possible. I made an other one of these cute little buggy cards, but didn’t take a picture yet. So that one will be for another post…

Hope you like it,

I’m off to sleep now, see ya….

Baby birdies

Hi everyone,

I have these whole stack of baby themed pattern paper and I wanted to finally use it. Till now, I made two. I used this weeks stampin 411 and mojo monday sketch challenges. The stamps come from a lot of different stamp sets namely: happy together, punch bunch, ity bitty bits, season of friendship, and something to celebrate stamp sets from stampin’up. Hope to make some more baby cards soon, I’ll post them when I’m finished…

Good night,

Crealotte
