I custom made this cheerful card for someone who wanted a birthday card with the following features: birthday theme – some remembrance of Easter – fishes to remember April the first – happiness.
For happiness, I started with the yellow colour. Then I added a punchart bunny. As bunnies and fishes aren’t really often found together, I made a seaside scene with fishes in the water. The bunny could be added on the grass and I finished it of with a birthday sentiment.
I love to make custom orders which allow to completely personalise the card to the recipient! What better gift than a well thought one?
Oh yes, it’s that time again. New year just passed and yet we have another celebration. Valentine is coming, so don’t forget your loved ones! Ask Crealotte to create a special card for him or her. Show your loved one that you think about him or her all the time…
This is a card for which I made a custom embossing folder. I did not have any embossing folder with hearts on it, so I decided to make one out of cardboard. I like the feeling of being able to create whatever I want with just my hands, glue and paper (and a couple of tools of course…). Once the embossing folder was made, the rest of the card came quickly. I colored the truck with my copics markers and used one of my border punches to add a delicate touch.
So, I am off again, don’t forget to order your cards and reserve a dinner table in time for Valentine!
Today I have for you, a card made specially for a doctor. We often forget that many of them or on duty during Christmas, let’s have a special thought for them! This card came together quiet quickly. I used some Christmas themed DSP which I found in my stash, together with this Doctor image. I coloured it in with my copics (Oh I love those markers!!!). Hope you like today’s card… Have a nice Christmas preparation time!
Eloha! I am back again with this card I made for the first birthday of Guillaume. He turned one and is born in the year of the Chinese serpent. It was my task to get all this info in one card. I found this serpent image and adapted it using inkscape. That’s a wonderful computer program, perfect to make and adapt drawings. And it is free! I printed and colored the image using my Copics markers. I didn’t have the exact same colors as the cardstock, but I like that the green kind of pops out. For the text I used a Disney font. The card is pretty simple, so I decided to put the picture in a recessed window in order to create some volume. I like how it turned out! Hope you like it too… Any questions? Shoot and I’ll be happy to answer!
Don’t you hear the sirens already? I made this firetruck birthday card for the nephew of a colleague of mine. He just turned 4 and loves all kids of trucks, police cars, ambulances etc. So I adapted a drawing of a fire truck I found on the internet and coloured it in with my copic markers. I had little firetruck stamps from Aladine, stamped them with versamark and heat embossed them with white. The card shape was made with the circle card die from stampin’up. As you maybe see (although I didn’t make a picture of that), the flap containing the sentiments can be folded open in order to write a message inside.
Hope you like this week’s card!
Last week I showed you a card I made for a customer featuring the zodiac sign and ascendancy of a newborn baby. Today, I have another card featuring both these signs, but this time it is for a two year old girl. As I thought it would not be so funny for a little girl to have “adult” symbols on her card, I decided to make a girly pocket card and to put the signs on the inside. This way, both the adults and the girl would get something they liked.I like the little folded ribbon on the top which keeps the pocket closed! What do you like about this card? Have a nice day!
Today I share with you a custom card I made for someone who will receive a fotoshoot as birthday gift. I had to make a kind of gift card where the surprise read “Good for a photoshoot with Bernard delhalle photography”. I thus made this envelope card with a big camera inside from which the lens could be moved to the left and the text would appear. I like the idea of “hiding” info on cards or scrapbook pages! Hope you like today’s card and don’t hesitate to leave me your idea’s on how you would have done it…
Hello everyone! Today I’m here with lots of flowers! This card was meant as a thank you note for someone active in horticulture. I stamped the background with the wood grain stamps and stamped flower pots in every cube. I thought this card looked like sunshine, don’t you think? I hope the person will like his handmade card!
I’m off now towards more crafting fun!
This card was made for baby Anthony. I wanted something simple but at the same time different from what I usually make. I thus decided to use vellum on this one. Vellum gives a soft touch to the card, perfect for a newborn baby card. As you know, vellum is semi translucent. This means that also the glue can be seen through. I therefore used some brads on both top and bottom of the card and added some glue behind the center piece, to keep everything in place.
I decided to make this card completely cream and blue to keep the classic baby colours. As this card was meant as baptism card, I did not use a standard baby stamp, but added this little bird as sign of peace between earth and heaven.
Hope you liked this week’s card. Have a nice day!
Hello everyone! Today I have a rather special card for you. This was a custom order from my best customer, who wanted a birth card featuring both the zodiac sign and ascendency of the baby. I had to study a bit, and look up how those signs were represented and this is what I came up with.
I love to personalize cards, it is always such a challenge!!! How do you like my take on the inquiry?
