Cloisonne butterfly

Hi stampers,

I am sharing a technique card today.  I mixed the sketch challenge from JUGS and the case study challenge for this one. The butterfly is made using the “ink cloisonne” technique (Don’t know how it is called exactly and I couldn’t find it on the internet, so “ink cloisonne” is the name I gave it. If anyone recognizes the technique and knows the exact name, please leave me a comment!). I used some distress ink (broken china and barn door) from Ranger for the coloring and an iron wire to make the antennas. The stamps are from Martha stewart and Stampin’up. Hope you like it.

Flying Flowers

Hi bloggies,

I have so many birthdays and wedding days this month, it was quiet time for me to start working on those. This is the first one. The butterfly stamp is from Martha Stewart and the sentiment comes from stampin’up. I used this weeks color combo from the paper players (which I adore) and a sketch from stampin 411. I must say that I am quiet happy with the result! Hope you like it too…
