I know it has been far to long. Life here in Europe is so much more stressing and time consuming than it was when we lived in Canada. But I had a brake the last two weeks (can tell you that I needed it!!!) and this gave me some time to sit at my crafting table. Several cards are made and I’ll be posting them soon, but today I wanted to start with a challenge card. I want to enter this one for my old time favourite: the paper players and for another challenge blog where I like to participate: freshly made sketches. For the paper players it had to stay to blues (midnight muse and pool party) and white, I immediately wanted to make a winter card. The freshly made sketches offered a square card design with one layer and one focal point on the lower right corner. The sketch forms the basis of my design, although I did not keep the card square. I also added a border behind my focal point as otherwise I had the impression it was floating around alone on my card. Hope you like it!
See you soon!
I know it has been quiet a while. I am at home this month and I thought that would mean: lots of card challenges, making my holiday scrapbook, blogging a lot… But no… 🙁 Ever since de beginning of this month I thought I could make share some challenge cards with you, but for that you actually have to participate isn’t it? Every time I got to sit at my crafting table it was to make cards or jewelry for customers, I almost had no time (till now) to work on a project of my own. And the few times I had the time, the mojo just didn’t come… So this morning I decided that it had to work. I sat down till I got something out of it. I used the paper players challenge (crumbcake, cherry cobler and not quiet navy color combo) as base of inspiration. A lot of stamps got in my hands, but finally it became a Christmas card. A bit to CAS, if you ask me, but I am happy with it anyway (changes from my normal style).
I promise to try to post more often again. I have some finished projects laying on my craft table since quiet a while, so I will make my pics and post them soon…
See ya later!
Tonight a quick post for the paper players. The challenge was to make a CAS masculine card. I had this stamps I bought at the dollar store the other day which I really wanted to try out. So here you have my multicolored little cars! I would love to give this to a little boy I know and see if he likes it…
I’m off to sleep now…
See ya later!
